WebJan 15, 2024 · The only real service requirement is to check the pH of the glycol especially if the glycol has been overheated. Its more of an issue with evacuated tube type collectors but if a circulator pump fails and the glycol is left in the loop it can get overheated. When glycol gets overheated it turns acidic and can corrode the piping and collectors.
