WebOnly thing that makes me hesitate is the comments I see about the autofocus on the GH5. I see some say it’s not good at all, and others says it was mostly fixed by the firmware update. I use my C100 on a Ronin S quite a bit, and the autofocus is super smooth. If the AF is really that bad on the GH5, it will not work as a stand in. WebImprovement to Panasonic G9 It is a good still and video camera. However I find that the shutter release is too soft. Just a simple press - will shoot off at least 2-3 images. There should be a button to allow the user to set whether the pressure on the shutter should be soft, medium or hard.

WebJan 18, 2024 · No need to search lenses only for the GH5. All auto focusing lenses for Micro Four Thirds will fit it. If you want inexpensive, look for a used kit lens (e.g. 12-32, 14-42). If you want new then the cheapest I know of is the Olympus 40-150 f/4-5.6 for $99.
